‘Graffiti’ handpainted silk scarf by Carole Waller ‘Graffiti’ is one of my all time favourite images – derived from a poster board in Chile photographed in 1994. The text is screenprinted and the painted marks surround the print. The colours are slate grey with white, silver and vanilla painted on a semi transparent silk georgette, with its lovely fluid handle. Handwash or dry clean. Iron while slightly damp if possible. ‘Graffiti’ handpainted silk scarf by Carole Waller Measurements: Length : 185cm Width : 56cm Carole Waller art to wear: Carole is known for her collections of original painted clothes and scarves which she has been making since 1986 – and in 2026 moves towards painting on paper and cloth for the walls – and using this imagery to design collages for printed scarves in silk and cashmere. Waller&Wood. Waller and Wood is our gallery name from the time we had a retail gallery in Bath between 2015 and 2020. Visit the Waller and Wood website to see Carole Waller Glass – and the archive of ceramics by Gary Wood. My studio and small showroom is now in Worthing, close to Brighton, where I moved in 2026. Visitors are welcome, by appointment, for a beautiful view of the sea, coffee and to browse the small number of painted garments still available and the collection of silk scarves – alongside the new paintings and prints.
