I have previous versions of this Slushy Machine. We have LOVED it. All slush machines need upkeep and maintenance and, on occasion, parts broke. We were able to get replacement pieces or new parts. We are fully versed in how Slushy Machines are supposed to operate. THIS MACHINE WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY.The condensation clings to the surface of the machine and drips down under the drip tray, causing flooding. The actual drainage system is set up so terribly that it pools on top of the drip tray, causing more flooding. The most disturbing aspect of this machine is that is requires the operator to choose a temperature setting, however, you dont get any temperature reference and it is continually changing. These changes then prevent the machine from keeping the mixture at a “slush” consistency. All in all we would love to be able to get the original machine before they made this newer version. The “improvements” are TERRIBLE.
