I was skeptical at first that I would get any sprouts. Germination for lotus seeds says you are supposed to nick the out hard shell. That is almost impossible! So, I places all seeds in water to try to soften first. 2 seeds instantly floated to the top meaning they weren’t viable. After about 1-2 weeks I saw 2 little sprouts! This is amazing!!!! I’m hoping for more as I have other seeds starting to split now. I received 16 seeds total in my baggie. And I can’t wait to put them in my koi pond!
