I just reviewed the larger can of these so my review will be the same for both. The only main difference here is that this spray is meant to work easier on aluminum but should still do everything the basic black spray does.I’ve used this spray in the past and have had pretty good results (when it works), but there’s a lot of trial and error involved. I have an xtool f1 and the spray seems to work well enough using the blue light. I’ve tried using the uv laser but it mostly just etches away the paint as it sets it.The issue with these types of sprays, in general, is that the settings need to be just right, and they change with almost any surface you use them on. You almost go through half the bottle if you get the small one just on trials. The company gives you recommended settings, but they are just a starting reference that requires adjusting. Even the settings I used wouldn’t be helpful because of how they differ with materials. I used blue laser, engraving, 100 power, 20 speed, and 250 resolution on polished gold. You can get very black markings on the f1 using the uv laser but it’s still an etching that can be easily polished off and can mostly be seen at a certain angle. This spray is black paint which is easily viewable from any angle and when done right won’t fade, scratch or polish off easily.Overall, the spray does work but requires a lot of tuning to get the right settings. I would only recommend it if you mostly work with the same item, if you dial the settings for one steel tumbler then all tumblers should come out good.
