‘Dancers’ handprinted silk satin shawl Carole Waller ‘Dancers’ handprinted silk satin shawl is a double layer of heavy silk satin with a really sumptuous drape and feel. It forms part of a collection of handprinted scarves made at Beckford Silk, UK – in collaboration with Carole in 1993/4 when they worked together on a collection called ‘Screamprint’ – using the original techniques of tracing each layer from Carole’s original painting to make a screen to print each colour. There is only one shawl in this lovely fabric. The rich palette includes very dark aubergine, purple, black and gold with dashes of sky blue, pinks and chestnut Handwash or dry clean.
