‘Container’ Handpainted silk chiffon shawl by Carole Waller A swathe of lightest floaty silk chiffon – 2.6metres long so you can wear it many ways from sarong to shawl – this is a lovely cloth. “Container’ is a book of poems by Gary Wood . He loved Walt Whitman’s phrase ‘I am not contained between my hat and boots’ and the word associates itself nicely to the  wrapping of the body in colour. The soft  colours are slate grey with gold, green, turquoise, lime and mink. Handwash or dry clean. ‘Container’ Handpainted silk chiffon shawl by Carole Waller Measurements: Length :   260cm Width :   120cm Carole Waller art to wear: Carole is known for her collections of original painted clothes and scarves which she has been making since 1986 – and in 2026 moves towards painting on paper and cloth for the walls – and using this imagery to design collages for printed scarves in silk and cashmere.
