Girls’ Cardigan Coat “Bird Tails & Ponytails” Knitting Pattern to create this cardigan in approximate size fitting 2 year old girl This finished item knitted in (light) worsted weight yarn measures 17″ long and 22″ around the chest It can be sized up or down just by changing the yarn used or adding / reducing length of skirt and sleeves. More sizes will be added at later date and offered to already purchased patterns free of charge. Project uses circular (at least 24″ long) (for comfort of handling only, but straight needles may be used as well) needles of 2 sizes – 4 US (3 ¼ mm) & 7 US (4 ½ mm), cable needle, stitch holders (optional), stitch markers (optional) and buttons. Optional items may be replaced by waste yarn of a different color. Approximately 400 grams / 14 oz of Wool or wool blend is preferred for this garment The pattern is created using rather simple techniques. Written stitch by stitch instructions are provided as well as many photos and charts illustrating steps of project. Also included are links to helpful videos.
